K2 MODULAR CAR PARK CONSTRUCTION

K2 Modular car park construction’s Clear and Multi Span Systems can be used in single and multi-story car parks design and deals with clients’ varying requirements.

K2 modular car parks has multiple systems;

K1 – A specialist steel and concrete option with unique design and own modular steel frame solution which uses in-situ concrete cast in trays to provide either a single deck or a full multi-story car park.

GRP – A patented Modular car park system which is permanent but also demountable built offsite to provide fast build with minimal disruption for customers across all sectors

Hybrid – The Hybrid system is a combination of the K1 & GRP systems providing the best of both worlds. Used only on multi-storey car parks the GRP element is utilised on the top floor providing a watertight roof which is also a parking deck.Using this method of construction, it allows all other trades to work on the levels below in a controlled environment without stoppages due to inclement weather. Site programmes can be guaranteed in this way.

What We Do...

PERMANENT

All system are built as permanent structures with the benefit of the GRP system being demountable. Built to the same quality standards as traditional builds with a 2.5kN/m2 design load, this can be increased to 3.5kN/m2 for overseas projects

FLEXIBLE

The GRP system can be taken down and reconfigured to fit a new design on a site where it may be relocated to, thus making it more modular.

EASY TO DEMOUNT

The GRP system is then transported to a new site or stored for future use. As the system is bolted together it simply unbolts to take it down.

THE BENEFITS

All systems utilise local materials, Eco-friendly, Flexible easy to build on difficult sites, demountable & permanent.

THE CONCEPT

The Patented modular car park system and the Hybrid systems have at their core design principles of speed & flexibility.

THE ADVANTAGES

Fits any shape, any size, with multi-story capability, minimal site installation time, guaranteed programme of works
